Dr. Sunwoong Steve Choi completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California (USC) in 2005. Selected as one of the most outstanding graduates of the University that year, he was elected into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society.

Following his general dentistry training, Dr. Choi completed his 5 years Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery training at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. During his specialty residency, Dr. Choi obtained a medical degree and also completed 1 year of general surgery training.

He is an active member of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, the California Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association and California Dental Association. Dr. Choi is both a licensed physician and a dental specialist. He is also licensed to administer general anesthesia.

Dr. Choi's passion in clinical practice is facial reconstruction, dentoalveolar surgery, and dental implant surgery.
